Veterinarian

Queen Village Animal Hospital is seeking a talented, compassionate, enthusiastic part-time associate veterinarian. We are located in the vibrant Queen Village section of Philadelphia. We currently have 5 doctors and are seeking an associate to join our team. Our well-established practice is equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, in-house lab (IDEXX), doppler, tonometry, a full surgery suite and treatment areas.

The ideal candidate should have at least three years in general practice but new grads will be considered as well. He or she should be able to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and clients.

Our team is passionate about caring for animals and we value that passion, hard work, and dedication. We are problem solvers and like to find the best and, often, most cost-effective treatment plans for our clients and patients. Most of our doctors and support staff have been with the hospital for over 10 years and we pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy and supportive work environment.

Veterinarian Technician

Queen Village Animal Hospital is seeking a highly motivated veterinary technician to join our well-established, 5 doctor practice in Philadelphia, PA. Our doctors and staff are committed to the highest standard of veterinary care and professional ethics. Utilize and grow your skills while working in a family-like environment.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is friendly, outgoing, flexible, people-oriented and has excellent communication and client service skills. The Veterinary Technician is responsible for the care and treatment of unstable and or critically ill patients; triage emergency patients; monitoring hospitalized pets; performing patient tests, treatments and nursing care; admitting and discharging patients; client communication and education; scheduling appointments and answering technician calls.
Applicant should be skilled in the following areas: client service, blood drawing, catheter placement, radiology, pharmacy and nursing care.
