VMD
Dr. Kim Greiner earned her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Prior to that, Kim graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Animal Science from Cornell University. Before obtaining her veterinary degree, Dr. Greiner spent two years performing cancer research at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wistar Institute.
Dr. Greiner started off her career in central New Jersey practicing small animal general and emergency medicine. She and her husband, along with their spunky Siamese mix Ivy, relocated to Philadelphia where Dr. Greiner joined the team of Queen Village Animal Hospital in May 2009. Dr. Greiner’s special interests include small animal internal and preventative medicine, as well as emergency medicine. In 2013 Dr. Greiner was certified by the USDA to prepare cats and dogs for international travel, completing country specific requirements and health certificates for animals traveling worldwide.
Kim volunteers as a guest speaker at the NJ Girls’ Career Institute, a program whose goal is to introduce and encourage young women to explore various professional career opportunities.
Since her move to Queen Village, Dr. Greiner has enjoyed living and practicing in such a pet-friendly community in which our pets are beloved members of the family. Her favorite aspect of general practice is the opportunity to develop close relationships with both pets and their owners and to provide the best possible care for an animal as its needs evolve over the course of its lifetime.
