Dear Valued Clients:
Queen Village Animal Hospital is committed to the health and safety of our clients, patients, employees and community. Since we are an essential business, we will remain open 7 days a week and will continue to serve the community. We are continuing to schedule all medically necessary and urgent patients. We respect social distancing and have taken action already. Our hospital is minimizing risk by limiting physical contact. Here are some ways we are doing our part:
-We encourage clients to schedule any healthy vaccine appointments at a later time but we will continue to see those patients at our hospital if an alternate time is not available. Please keep in mind drop off service is also available. More information on the Drop Off Exam service can be found on our website. We will also call to collect payment after the exam and to let you know when your pet is ready for pickup. Our staff will bring your furry-loved one to your car.
-Surgeries are getting scheduled as needed. You will be given a specific time to drop off to minimize physical contact. Our staff will call to confirm any procedure and to go over the temporary protocol.
-For those clients that need to come into our hospital, you will be put right into a room or be asked to wait outside until a room becomes available. We are able to check out from the rooms to minimize the spread of the virus. Every room has a sink for the client to be able to wash their hands while here.
-We recommend using our online pharmacy, MyVetStoreOnline.com, for prescriptions and food. We understand that this is not always ideal but if you need to come into our hospital for prescriptions or food, you will be asked to call in ahead of time and will also be required to prepay. When you arrive, please call and our staff will gladly bring it out to you.
-We will continue to clean the hospital several times throughout the day as to not spread the virus. Our staff practices 20- second hand washing before and after each appointment. They have also been advised to stay home if of them have symptoms such as fever, cough or sore throat. Sanitizer has been placed in different locations of the hospital.
We appreciate you working with us during this difficult time. We are continuing to monitor new developments and will make changes based on what is necessary. These are all temporary decisions as to protect and keep us safe.
